How to deal with System Reserved partition

Hi,
I previously upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and I now want to do a clean install of Windows 10. Before doing so, I want to take a backup image of my current C: drive. My aim is simply to get back to my pre- clean install state if I need to. The layout of my drives is as shown below:

B&R 15 Restore problem ?

I made a restore usb stick because my laptop does not boot from a cd. I started the restore and the screen is stuck on the picture of a hard drive with lines running through it. I have seen it before for a short time, but this is there for hours. Could this be because this laptop has a one terabyte drive ?

Never had a problem with a restore cd.

B&R Install Problem

Getting away from my restore problem, have to work some more with my laptop.

On my desktop, the program will not install, just stops. I went through the whole cleaning thing, registry, etc.
I tried about 8 times, trying something different every time.
Could they have a maximum use of a serial number ?

I also have a support ticket open, but would like a possible fix before Monday.

Hi there,

I'm trying to create a image backup of my newly installed Win10 using my Paragon software.
I've already created the USB flash WinPE recovery and I was creating the image on my USB external drive when, during the data collection, I had this popup window:

And I don't know what I have to do......
The volume 0 on disk 0 is my SSD drive C where I have my OS. So, before having trouble I canceled...

VSS Error not enough disk space.

I have a 223gb and a 931gb drive that I am trying to back up to a 4gb external drive formatted in GPT.

The back up keeps failing and giving me the error:

Paragon Back up 14 Free Ver

VSS Error not enough disk space. This is a win 7 ultimate box and a blank 4tb drive.

Please advise.

I've used quite a lot of programs for imaging like Acronis, Easus, Macrium and all of them refer to the backup result or process as imaging and the result is an image. With Paragon backup it's backup to virtual disk and the result is a folder which multiple files with incremental numbers. All other programs create one "image file" and now I get multiple. I've made a scheduled Operation in Paragon B&R. So, I created a full partition backup and executed it. Now I want to schedule incremental backup daily against the full partition backup. I open the Incremental backup to VD Wizard and go all the way through, typing in the name of the file ( this is the problem ) as incremental-1, and when finished, rather than Apply, I click, send to scheduler. Hi all, after i did a restore, my BCD entry is as follows:

Windows 7 (\Windows) : Default OS
Windows 7 (C:\Windows) : Current OS

The second selection works only.

HDM15 cloned drive and cannot boot from original drive now

Hello,

Used Hard Drive Manager 15 last night to clone laptop drive to higher capacity drive. Clone operation appears to have succeeded and laptop starts up with a screen to either 'start windows normally' or ' run recover mode.'

When I run the recovery mode I get my laptops recovery software which wants to reformat my original drive so I don't want to loose my original hard drive data.

When I try the start windows normally option the laptop just sits there with no action.

I am a new user and am running a full version Paragon backup v12. I need some help from the experienced use community please. I am running a dual boot system Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10. Background:
I am very thankful there is an alternative product to Symantec System Recovery given all the chaos with the Veritas split. I am very pleased that PHDM 15 does more than what I actually initially needed but Im finding one small but HUGE feature to me which seams to be missing.

I've been backing up a server for some time now daily with incremental backups and needed to restore earlier today but after 6 hours have totally failed.

In HDM 14, I could happily restore a backup of the current OS drive (Win 8.1) to an external USB drive with everything running and then swap drives round. HDM15 refuses to do the backup though. Hi Guys.
Looking for best way to put my Windows OS onto a spare disk in case of current disk failure.
Ive not tried migrating, is it safe to do this without risk of damage to the source files?

I have a Dell Laptop running Windows Vista. I have been using Paragon Free (32 bit) to backup the laptop for over a year. All of the backups have been successful. The backups are being saved on a home network drive that have been accessible to both the Laptop and Paragon Backup & Recovery 2014 without a problem. NOTE that I always run Paragon Free in "run as administrator mode".

About a month ago, I setup a full partition backup against my Windows partition ( about 244GB ). After that was successful, I then created incremental and watched it go for about 3 weeks before it started throwing this error.
Nothing works now as any file I/O for new backups and restores get the error:

Error: 65571 ( 0x10023 )
Can't open/create file

Platform: Windows 7 Pro SP1
Source: local SATA 480GB SSD ( primary windows drive )
Destination: local SATA 380GB HDD (...

Trying to recover hard drive with files stored on NAS device

I can boot into the recovery console, locate the backup files on my Qnap NAS device and when I start the recovery process it gets stuck on the "checking files integrity" It's been there for over 10 hours. The entire backup folder is approximately 580gigs so is this normal for this step to take so long?

Hi,

I have downloaded Paragon Backup & Recovery Free 2014 today, and tried it on a Windows 10 x64 machine. I stayed in normal mode and created a full disk backup of my SSD (all partitions)

Then i created the Media Recovery on an USB Key (WinPE) and still in normal mode tried to restore the VD backup to my SSD.

Now, when i start the machine, i have the message "Reboot and select proper boot device". It seems that boot partition has not been well restored in the process... Tried two...
